Chinese New Year!!!
Hello people! Once again, I'm back with a another blog. It's almost 3 weeks, but you people have been busy with the holidays anyway, so you wouldn't have checked my blog also. The long awaited holidays have arrived, finally! So glad to have loads of sleep and go out with some friends. I've always been busy, or too tired after work to head out for a drink with u people. Hey Joanne, Desiree' and Anis, thanks for everything, my hols would have been boring if wasn't for u all! Mark, Adam, Mel, Corrinne, Eugene, Darren....u ppl Rock!... Bowling and "luk-luk"(the steamboat van) was so kewl!
So, once again, Chinese New Year is here, and I too celebrate la coz of the "mixed" nature of my family. Went over to my uncle's in near Tropicana. Had fun foolin around, pigging out with absolutely 1st class chinese cuisine!, enjoyin good liquor, and gambling! Oh yeah, I received a lot of Ang Pau too! hahaha

but loads in quatity! Aunt Catherine can pass off as a real 5-Star Hotel Chef anytime! The Prawns were AWESOME! had about 10 myself! Pork Vindaloo was sooo ON! And Abolone Kai Kiyuk was "finger-lickin-good" ( ;-) haha, Alvin )

I love the holidays, Chinese New Year, Hari Raya (the only time no alcohol!), Deepavali, Christmas and New Year! Coming from a mixed family, we have the best celebrations. The next gathering will be my cousin's weddin! Forgot how fun it is to have family gatherings....coz last Christmas, we had open house, so din join the relations...
Sadly, I'm not allowed to put on my cousins pics because the ones I have, they were all Zonked out! Took movie clips also with my new Powershot A620, but banned from puttin up on my site. Oh well, till my next post...U people take care and be nice! God Bless....
New Year's Resolution
Why do people make new year resolutions? What good does it do? The way I see it, people usually follow it in the month of January, probably till February if they're still goin strong with their new found habit, exercise or routine. But amazingly, some do follow it through all the way!
Made some myself, let's see if I follow through em all the way!
1.To be more involved in sports and social activities in Church and Work. Wanna make more friends.
2.To loose weight & be fit for extra curricular activities! U can be imaginative here aight? ;-) Gotta hit the gym and jog more for this to work.
3.Read more books, gain more knowledge! Kinda feel dumb at times when having conversation with new friends. May want to talk more with more people, learn stuff...
4.Go clubbing less, and spend more time in the youths at church. Somehow donating for a worthy cause seems more rewarding that splashin it on drinks, getting drunk and making a fool out of myself!
5.Seek out and keep in touch with old friends. Somehow, I feel this is truly important as I believe it's them who define who I am today. The people I used to hang out with and love spending quality time with. I want to be given the chance to appreciate the help, love and care shown to me. Hopefull be good friends again with my "Buddy"...(u know who u are ding!)
6.Come up with an original idea! It's gonna be prety hard but since i love to think and analyze stuff, I should be able to come up with some good ideas. Probably like writing a story! JP style of course! Previous ones were kinda noti/dirty... so will have the next one be readable for all ages! (shame on u JP!)
I guess 6 is enuf. Altough I seriously doubt I'll be able to follow em all, but at least I'm trying to be a better person. Very few have changed me for the better. I hope my new found friends, along with my loyal and trustworthy old ones will continue to guide me and help me be a better Child of God! :-)

Hello People! I've not blogged for almost a month now. Guess as time goes by, you feel really lazy to do some pretty routine stuff. The makan-makan began from 1pm till 8pm...then my parents friends came. I pulak went out visiting. Ate like a pig the whole day! So much for all the hard work at the gym running the threadmill....

To all who came, thanks! It was nice having all of you at my small, humble home in Sunway college. Just waiting to get a real house and have more get togethers! For those of ou who didn't make it, no worries as there's always more christmases to come... Made some new friends in the process too...
